(Martial Arts & Fight Sports) for well over 20 years in many different Disciplines.

A night of training would consist of firstly an Opening Full Rei (Japanease Practice).
Then an adequate and compulsory Warm-Up and Ukemi (Break-Falls).
Next on to Bag & Pad Work - Punching, Kicking, Blocking, Stretching, Resistance Weights and More.
Extra Tuition - Non-Sylabus Training from any Instructor, this section could include anything from:
- Variations on existing techniques
- Defence against Street Weaponry Knife, Bottles and More
-Offense/Defense/Kata of Martial Arts Weaponry Jo Staff, Bo Staff and Tonfa (Night-Stick).
- Maybe Multiple Attackers and Learning Reasonable Force to Defend yourself within the Law.
- Sports Styled Kickboxing, Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Practices
- Street-Wise Practical Self Defence.
This section could really involve anything
as BGJJC has influence from many different Disciplines and Sports,
as mentioned earlier tries hard to appeal to all.
Next Syllabus Training - Learning, Practising and Revising Relevant Grades.
Finally all closed with a Warm-Down or Kata and a Closing Full Rei (Japanease Practice).

The Club runs under the 'United Kingdom Ju-Jitsu Association International' (UKJJAI)
which was founded in 1985 by Soke Allan Tattersall, Hanshi.
The Parish Hall is also a Officially Registered DOJO of the 'Dai Nippon Butoku Kai' (DNBK),
the oldest and most prestigious Budo Society in the world.
The style, Myo Shin Ryu is loosely translated to
'School of the Brillance and the Truth'
the style was born out of Nihon Tai Jitsu by the founder Soke Allan Tattersall Hanshi
when he and the UKJJAI Demonstrated the style at a Japanease Taikai in Kyoto
where it was immediately accepted by the DNBK and
wrote into the Japanease Scrolls forever.
